Oh dear. It's been over a year since I even thought about writing a journal. I just got sick of seeing the old one, really. I started CEGEP (for all you non-Quebecers, it's college in Quebec! ) last Monday and I love everything about it so far! I'm in the Music-Science double DEC program and I freaking love all my teachers and all my classes.. With maybe the exception of piano, I'm iffy about that one, but to be fair, I've only had one class so far and I didn't know what to expect.. Anywho! The liberty is almost overwhelming, but in the best way imaginable!

I happen to be going for an endoscopy and other lovely stomach stuff today though. That's not so fun. I haven't eaten anything all weekend in preparation and MAN, I'm craving a grilled cheese sandwich like you wouldn't believe.. I feel like a pregnant woman, it's a little hilarious.

In other news, I broke up with my boyfriend of a year and eight months about a month ago and although it's hard, I'm enjoying that liberty, too. I stopped being sad a while ago and now I'm just rediscovering what it's like to only have yourself to worry about.. It's less stressful, in all seriousness, and I can concentrate on my schoolwork and personal goals with all this new time on my hands. I don't know. It's different. I don't regret anything, though - I'm just appreciating what I have now and taking life as it comes.. Everything feels so new, it's awesome.

THAT being said, I have a lot more time for creativity and hopefully that means I'll have some more new stuff up and I'll get to comment on more of YOUR stuff.. I've been really absent from dA for a ridiculous amount of time and I plan to turn that around!
